Directions

  1. Lay the bread out on the work surface.
  2. Spread one side of each slice with the mustard.
  3. Spread half of the cheese on one slice of bread.
  4. Cover with half of the turkey and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Evenly spread the cranberry sauce on the turkey on the sandwich.
  6. Top with the remaining turkey; season with salt and pepper to taste, and cover with the remaining cheese and bread. Press down slightly on each sandwich.
  7. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Preheat tilt grill to 350 degrees F. Heat tilt grill, and add both margarine and oil to the grill.
  9. Dip and coat each of the sanwiches in the egg mixture and lay in the grill. Cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.
  10. Transfer the sandwiches to a baking sheet and bake until the cheese is melted, about 6 to 8 minutes.
