Turkey meatballs on a stick

Ingredients

  • 400 g minced turkey meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground chili
  • 1/4 cup homemade bread crumbs
  • Peanut oil for cooking

Turkey meatballs on a stick

Time: 10 minutes prep, 15 minutes cook
Servings: 3 servings
 

Directions

  1. Mix together the first five ingredients and enough bread crumbs to obtain a compact meatball mixture.
  2. Form small meatballs and roll them in the remaining breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat the oil and fry the meatballs, few pieces at the time until done and golden-brown on all sides.
  4. Remove the meatballs from oil with a slotted spoon and place on the paper towel to remove the excess oil.
  5. Place the meatballs on the wooden skewers and serve with tartar sauce, French fries and green salad.
