Ingredients

  • 1 (5 1/2 ounce.) pkg. scalloped potato mix
  • 5 c. boiling water
  • 1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (9 1/2 ounce.) can Chicken of the Sea light tuna, undrained
  • 1 tbsp. instant chopped onion, or possibly fresh grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Garlic flavored croutons (opt.)

Directions

  1. In large saucepan, combine potato mix and water; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 20 min, or possibly till potatoes are tender. Add in tomatoes, undrained tuna, onion, celery salt and pepper. Simmer five min. Pour into tureen. Serve, garnished with croutons if you like.
