Tropcal Mango And Kiwi Freezer Jam Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. Prepared fruit, 2 ripe mangos & 3 kiwi
  • 1 Tbsp. Grated orange rind
  • 4 c. Sugar
  • 1 box certo crystals
  • 3/4 c. Water

Directions

  1. Peel and pit mangos. Finely chop and measure 1 1/4 c. into a bowl. Peel and finely chop kiwis. Measure 1 c. into bowl with mangoes. Add in orange rind. Add in sugar to fruit in bowl. Mix well; let stand 10 mins. Combine water and certo crystals in small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minutes.
  2. stirring constantly. Stir into fruit. Continue stirring about 3 mins. A few sugar crystals will remain. Pour quickly into jars or possibly freezer containers.
  3. Cover at once with tight lids. Let stand at room temperature till set-may take up to 24 hrs. Store in freezer. If used within 2-3 weeks jam may be stored in the refrigerator.
