Tomato Cheese Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 cups macaroni/pasta boiled with pinch of salt till become soft.
  • 1 medium green/yellow/red capsicum- cut into thin slices
  • 1 medium tomato- cut into 4 pieces and remove pulp and cut into strips
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies sliced thinly
  • 3 tbsp olive/vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • few black olives [optional]
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 3/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese grated

Directions

  1. In a pan heat the oil, add chopped onions and green chilies fry till onion turn golden brown.
  2. Add capsicum, crushed garlic, pepper, oregano fry for 2 mins and add tomato puree, olives, salt, red chilly powder fry for another min.
  3. Now add water and pasta to mixture stir for 1 min and cheese.
  4. Stir for 2 mins or until cheese seems to be dissolved completely.
  5. Take off the flame and serve hot.
