1 cup powdered sugar ½ cup unsalted butter, very soft 1 large egg 1 egg yolk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 and ½ cups all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon baking powder 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips ½ cup extra chocolate chips for topping after the cookies are removed from oven Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar and butter. Add in the egg, egg yolk and vanilla and mix until smooth. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl and slowly fold in the mixture. Stir until everything is just combined. Fold in the 1 cup chocolate chips. Refrigerate the dough for 24 hours. Preheat the oven to 325F (160C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop cookie dough on it with the help of two teaspoons. Bake for 14 minutes.
