Directions

  1. Cream together butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Beat in vanilla. Add in large eggs, one at a time. Blend in chocolate. Sift together cake flour, baking soda, and salt. Add in dry ingredients, alternately with water to creamed mix, beating well after each addition. Pour mix into 3 greased and lightly floured 8 inch baking pans. This is a light smooth textured "chocolatey" cake good for cakes and cupcakes. Frost with your favorite frosting.
