Sweet and Savory Party Mix Recipe
Sweet and Savory Party Mix is buttery caramel sweetness and salty goodness together in a classic party Must Have Snack!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Corn Chex
- 1 cup Wheat Chex
- 1 cup Rice Chex
- ½ cup Pretzel Sticks
- ¼ cup almonds
- ½ cup Cheez-It crackers
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 ½ tablespoons granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon water
- ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Lawry's Seasoned Salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 tablespoon dark corn syrup
Directions
- Pour all cereals into a large mixing bowl. Add in pretzel sticks, Cheez-It crackers and nuts.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add remaining ingredients and microwave for 1 minute, or until butter is melted. Stir together mixture and then pour over the cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer mix onto two baking sheets, and bake in a 250-degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool and store in an airtight container.
