Sugar Free Chocolate Tea Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/4 x cu up shortening
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar substitute
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/2 tsp Sp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp. Skim lowfat milk
  • 1 1/4 c. Cake flour
  • 1 sqr unsweetened chocolate, melted (1 oz)

Sugar Free Chocolate Tea Cookies

Directions

  1. 1 Cream shortening. Add in sugar replacement, egg, vanilla and lowfat milk and blend well.
  2. 2 Add in half the flour, mix well and stir in chocolate and the rest of the flour.
  3. 3 With cookie press, press onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Use hands and make small ball if you don't have press. Putting flour on your hands, this keeps dough from sticking. Press down with fingers on top of each cookie.
  4. 4 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 min.
  5. Makes 2 dozen
