Sugar - Dusted French Toast Sticks Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 c. egg substitute
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
- 6 slices (1 ounce each) hard white bread
- 2 T reduced calorie tub butter
- 2 teaspoon confectioners sugar
Directions
- In shallow bowl, whisk first 4 ingredients till combined; set aside. Cut each slice of bread into four 1/4 inch sticks; press into egg mix to coat both sides. Heat butter in 12 inch nonstick frying pan over medium heat. Cook bread about 5 min on each side. Dust evenly with sugar. Makes 6 servings of 4 sticks each.
