YOU HEAR OF CHICKEN AND TRUKEY CACCIATORE, I WANTED TO MAKE MY OWN VERSION OF IT USING A DIFFERENT KIND OF MEAT. SO I USE STEAK HOUSE ROAST, WITH ALL THE VEGGIES TO MAKE IT INTO A MAIN DISH!

  • 2.23 pounds steak house beef round half roast
  • 2 tbsp. thyme
  • 2 tbsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2cups V8 juice
  • 1 green bell pepper,chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper,chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper,chopped
  • 1 orange bell pepper,chopped
  • 1 large sqush,chopped
  • 10 oninon broilers, peeled
  • 1 cup sweet premium petites (CARROTS)
  • 3 celery chopped
  • 1 can chunky vegetable spaghetti sauce

Directions

  1. In a small bowl add the seasonings and mix well.
  2. Put the roast in a deep oven proof dish,rub with olive oil and seasonings.
  3. Pour 2 1/2 cups V8 juice on roast.
  4. Cover and put in a 350 degree oven for 2 hours.
  5. After two hours add the vegetables and the spaghetti sauce.
  6. Cover and cook another 1 1/2 hours.
