  • 8 tablespoons water
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 or more pounds of shrimp, skins and tails removed

Directions

  1. 1. In a bowl, stir together water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, crushed red pepper, and ground ginger. Set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in green onions and garlic; cook 30 seconds. Stir in sauce. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened.
  3. 3. Let cool and prepared shrimp, add shrimp and let sit 10 min

  5. 4. Put wood in grill-a smoker, on pre heat or highest setting till you have smoke, then turn down to high or 500 degrees and cook for 3 to 4 min. you mite cook 1 lb. or 2 lb. or more they go very fast
  6. 5. This is spicy shrimp you can serve on a bed of rice or snack.
