Spaghetti Sauce With Meatballs Chicago Style Recipe

Ingredients

1 med. onion, minced 1 med. can stewed tomatoes 2 sm. cans tomato sauce 1 sm. can tomato paste 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon grnd oregano 1 teaspoon grnd sweet basil 2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 2 c. water

Directions

1. Lightly brown onions in extra virgin olive oil. Blend in tomato paste and sauce, using water to rinse cans. Add in stewed tomatoes and spices. Bring to gentle boil. Lower heat and steam for three hrs.
