Ingredients
- 1 c. Sourdough Starter Mix (see recipe)
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. hot water
- 1 x egg
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda

Sourdough Pancakes Of Alaska

Directions
- Place the Sourdough Starter Fold in a nonreactive mixing bowl, add in the flour and water. Stir and leave, loosely covered, overnight in a hot place.
- The following morning, stir the mix and remove 1 c., adding it to your sourdough starter in the refrigerator.
- To the hot sourdough mix, add in remaining ingredients, stirring well.
- For each pancake, pour scant 1/4 c. batter onto a warm griddle. Cook pancakes till dry around edges. Turn and cook other sides till lightly golden.
- This recipe yields 2 servings.
