Smokie Bisque

Ingredients

  • 7 ounce. flaked smoke (ala Arbroath!) or possibly any smoked fish
  • 3 ounce. butter
  • 3 ounce. plain flour
  • Tin sweet corn
  • 2 good tsp. curry pwdr
  • 1 pt. lowfat milk
  • 1 pt. chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric for color

Smokie Bisque

Servings: 4
 

Directions

  1. Make a roux with the butter and flour. Add in lowfat milk and stock. Add in the rest of the ingredients and gently bring to the boil. Simmer for 10 min. Serve with a little minced parsley or possibly cream, if you like.
