Smokey Red Chimichurri Sauce Recipe
A really nice alternative to a Green Chimichurri sauce. It has a wonderful deep smokey and spicy flavor . Once again hats off to Bobby Flay !
Ingredients
- 1 C Fresh flat leaf parsley
- 1/2 C Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 C Red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbl Fresh oregano
- 1 Tbl Pureed chipotles in adobe sauce ( I used a heavy tsp to make it family friendly although I think it would be great with the Tbl )
- 1 Tbl Smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 Cloves garlic
- Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
- Place all Ingredients in a food processor
- Process until smooth
