Slow Cooker Beef Chuck Roast (with Carrots & Potatoes)

Ingredients

  • 6-7 pound Beef Chuck Roast
  • several dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 large Idaho Potatoes
  • one onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic (whole)
  • one tablespoon black pepper
  • 1-1/4 cup beef stock (low sodium)
  • 1-1/2 cups baby carrots
  • 2 stalks celery

Slow Cooker Beef Chuck Roast (with Carrots & Potatoes)

Time: 10 minutes prep, 6 hours cook
Servings: 6
 

Directions

  1. In your slow cooker add beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, on low heat
  2. In a saute pan sear the Chuck Roast and saute the sliced onions, garlic cloves and add both into the slow cooker, add celery pieces, baby carrots, cut potatoes
  3. Place lid on and cook 4-6 hours on low heat
  4. The Meat will fall apart and have wonderful flavors
