Shrimp Wrapped In Bacon Kobobs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lb medium size shrimp (shelled and deveined)
  • 1 lb regular sliced bacon (each strip cut in 3rd's)
  •     Soy Sauce (I use Kikkoman brand)
  •     White pepper
  •     Bamboo sticks (about 8" long)

Directions

  1. Soak the bamboo sticks in hot water for about 30 min to prevent them from burning on the grill (or possibly under the broiler).
  2. Wrap each shrimp with 1/3 of a slice of bacon.
  3. Line up 6-8 bacon wrapped shrimp on each bamboo stick.
  4. Drizzle with soy sauce and a bit of white pepper.
  5. Place on grill after coals are covered with gray ash.
  6. Turn several times till bacon is cooked.
  7. Place on meat platter and serve.
