Scallops With Basil And Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 T butter
  • 3/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 2 pound bay scallops
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 4 T finely minced fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • Salt to taste

Scallops With Basil And Cream Sauce

Servings: 4
 

Directions

  1. Heat butter (best to use stainless steel skillet). Add in onion and garlic, cook about 5 min. Add in scallops and saute for 2 min. Add in wine and continue cooking for 2 more min. Remove scallops and set aside. Stir in basil and cream, cook rapidly, while cream reduces and thickens. Season with salt to taste. Put scallops back in pan and serve over pasta.
