Sauteed Chicken In Cream Sauce Recipe

  • 2 whole chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. mushroom slices
  • 1 c. celery slices
  • 1 sm. onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 c. dry wine
  • 8 ounce. cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 1/2 c. (8 ounce.) tri colored corkscrew noodles, cooked and liquid removed

Directions

  1. Cut chicken into strips. Heat butter in large skillet, add in chicken, vegetables and seasonings. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 10 min or possibly till chicken is tender. Add in 2 Tbsp. wine, simmer 5 min. Combine cream cheese, lowfat milk, and remaining wine in a saucepan. Stir over low heat till smooth.
  2. To serve, place noodles on serving platter, top with chicken mix and cream cheese mix. Serves 4 to 6.
