Roasted Garlic & Caramelized Onion Dip with @KettleChips #RealKettleChips

I love a good dip, but I am kind of picky what kind of dip that has to be. My husband on the other hand, loves just about any dip. Spicy, chunky, smooth, cheesy, or creamy, he loves pretty much all of them. I think if you could live on dips alone, he would be a happy man. But having the perfect dipper, that is key.

Kettle Brand potato chips are made with only all-natural ingredients. They are the first potato chip to be verified by the nonGMO Project. That means that there is nothing funny, or words you can’t understand on the ingredient list. Potatoes, oil, and salt. That is it for the Sea Salt variety. Not often you can find a snack that has that short of an ingredient list. Kettle Chips are not short on flavor either. They are thick, super crunchy, and actually taste like a potato. Definitely sturdy enough to stand up to the thickest of dips.

Store bought french onion dip is a favorite for our whole family. I have made a Caramelized Onion Dip before, and it was a huge hit. This time I used that as a base recipe, and decided up the anti with roasted garlic. Trust me, great decision! Roasted garlic is pretty much always a good idea. Plus this dip is great both warm and cold, so it is great to make for parties. The Kettle Chips definitely stood up the the onion dip, and paired perfectly with it.

Serves: 10

Heat the butter and oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onions, salt and pepper. Saute for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to medium low, and continue cooking for about 30-45 minutes. You want the onions to get soft and caramel in color. You don’t want them browned from too high of a temp. Once cooked, allow to cool slightly.

In bowl of an electric mixer combine cream cheese, sour cream and mayo. Beat until smooth. Add in the onions and roasted garlic, mix until well combined. Serve immediately or chill to serve later.
