Rich Brownie Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1Â 1/2 c. Sugar
- 3/4 c. Cake flour
- 1/2 c. Cocoa
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 c. Unsalted butter
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- Â Â Sweetened whipped cream
- Â Â Shaved Chocolate if you like
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour pan. 8 by 1 1/2 inches. Mix all ingriedients except Wheetened Whipped Cream and chocolate; spread in pan.
- Bake about 35 min or possibly till top appears dry. Cold 10 min. Remove from pan, and cold cake completely. Top with Sweetened Whipped Cream and then shaved chocolate. Refridgerate any remaining cake.
- Sweetened Whipped Cream Beat 1 c. heavy whipping cream and 2 Tbsp granulated or possibly powdered sugar in chilled small bowl till stiff.
- NOTES : I made the whipped cream with a touch of ameretto instead of the sugar, and it came out wonderfully.
