Quick & easy Chilli con carne

Ingredients

  • ½ Kilo of ground beef. (Or pork if desired.)
  • 1 Can of Red Kidney beans
  • 1 Can Hunts’ Diced tomato 794 Gram
  • 1 Cup Milled chilli (Laboyo if possible.)
  • ½ Tsp Cumin
  • ¼ Tsp Oregano
  • 1 Large Onion diced
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 Cloves of garlic

Quick & easy Chilli con carne

Time: 5 minutes prep, 45 minutes cook
Servings: 4
 

Directions

  1. Method
  2. Strain Tomato juice into a blender,
  3. Add Chilli, cumin, oregano and 3 cloves of garlic blend into a puree.
  4. Nb. You may add a little water to aid the blending if the chilli does not puree.
  5. Brown the Ground beef and onion in a large frying –pan. Pour the puree over, bring to boil and then simmer for 45 mins, serve with a nest of rice.
