Great recipe for using up leftovers. This also works great with chicken.

Directions

  1. If fresh pork, brown in skillet and remove.
  2. Add in onions and saute until soft. Return pork to pan (if using leftover put in now).
  3. Stir in brown sugar, ginger, salt, pepper, bouillon cubes, mushrooms and 2 c. water; cover and simmer 40 min.
  4. Add in celery, cover and simmer 10 min.
  5. In a sup blend cornstarch, soy sauce and remaining 1/4 c water, stir into meat mix.
  6. Cook, stirring constantly until it thickens and boils 3 min.
  7. Stir in liquid removed bean sprouts; heat till bubbly.
  8. Serve with rice or oriental noodles.
