Pork And Noodles In Peanut Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1 pkt MAGGI 2 Minute Noodles, Oriental Flavour
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 400 gm pork schnitzel, cut into thin strips
  • 1 pkt MAGGI Satay Sauce Mix
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 4 x spring onions, sliced
  • 1 sm bunc spinach, washed and torn into pcs

Pork And Noodles In Peanut Sauce

Directions

  1. Bring the water to the boil.
  2. Break the noodles and add in to the water with the contents of the flavour sachet. Cook for 2 min.
  3. Drain the noodles, reserving 3/4 c. cooking liquid.
  4. Set the noodles and liquid aside.
  5. Heat the oil in a large pan.
  6. Add in the pork. Stir fry over a high heat for 2-3 min. Remove and set aside.
  7. Combine the sauce mix, reserved cooking liquid, peanut butter and soy sauce.
  8. Add in to the pan. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly, then simmer for 2 min.
  9. Add in the noodles and pork.
  10. Cook, stirring, for 2-3 min.
  11. Add in the spring onions and spinach. Cook, stirring, for a further 1 minute.
  12. Serve with rice.
