Polenta triangles

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup polenta or yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk

Polenta triangles

Time: 5 minutes prep, 18 minutes cook
Servings: 10 servings
 

Directions

  1. Combine polenta, flour, butter and cheese in a food processor or bowl. Whirl or rub with your fingers until mixture forms fine crumbs.
  2. Add egg and milk to the mixture, whirl or stir just until moistened.
  3. Pat dough into 9x13 inch pan.
  4. Bake in oven at 200°C for about 18 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Cut into squares, then cut each square diagonally in half (into triangle).
