Pico De Gallo

Ingredients

  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1-2 Jalapeno Chilis depending on preference
  • a good pinch of Sea Salt
  • 3/4 cup Cilantro/Coriander leaves(I use the stems too)
  • 1/4 cup of Lime or Lemon juice( more or less depending on taste)

Pico De Gallo

Time: 5 minutes prep
Servings: 1 bowl
 

Directions

  1. Remove seeds and white membrane from inside chilis. You can also just remove the tops and use the whole chili (wow thats going to be hot!).
  2. Dice all veggies
  3. In a medium bowl add veggies, salt and lime/lemon juice
  4. Mix well
  5. Enjoy!!

This wonderful fresh salsa is great on a number of different foods. I even use it with scrambled eggs and tortillas in the morning!
