Philly Chesesteak Quesadillas

Ingredients

  • 1 package Frozen chopped steaks or steak um if you have to
  • 1 pack large flower tortillas (10 count)
  • 1 onion
  • 1green bell pepper
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • mushrooms(optional)
  • 1 lb provolone cheese
  • jalapenos (optional)
  • garlic powder

Philly Chesesteak Quesadillas

Time: 10 minutes prep, 5 minutes cook
Servings: 10 serving
 

Directions

  1. finely dice onions and peppers
  2. finely chop jalapenos and and mushrooms (if using )
  3. shred cheese
  4. cook steak in saute pan with onions and peppers and mushrooms
  5. add some garlic powder to meat and veggie mix
  6. prepare second pan large enough for the tortillas to fit in
  7. add butter to pan or use light veggie oil
  8. place tortilla in buttered pan
  9. add cheese
  10. add steak and veggie mixture
  11. sprinkle more cheese on top
  12. add top layer of tortilla
  13. cook on medium heat
  14. flip and repeat till golden brown and flaky
  15. cut into wedges
  16. repeat for desired amount of guests
  17. enjoy

    Made these last night for a party came home with an empty plate. I know people like to put sour cream or salsa on there quesadillas which wouldn't work for these. So I made my poblano vinaigrette recipe but also added sour cream to it and it made a perfect accompaniment to your philly quesadillas. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
