Directions

  1. Brown sausage in a large skillet. Remove sausage and reserve grease. Add in onions and celery; saute/fry till tender. Add in 1/2 c. warm water to skillet and stir till boiling. Turn off heat. In a large bowl, put crumbled cornbread and white bread; mix. Pour heated liquid mix over bread mix and mix. Add in salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. Continue stirring and adding broth till bread is mushy. Stir in minced Large eggs and pecans. Add in broth as needed. Pour into 2 baking dishes and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till brown and crunchy on top.
