Peas and Cheese (with Mushrooms)

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 oz. paneer
  • 9 oz. mushrooms
  • 9 oz. (1 2/3 cups) fresh peas, shelled
  • 2 oz. (4 Tablespoons) ghee or melted butter
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 Tablespoon cilantro, chopped

Peas and Cheese (with Mushrooms)

Time: 10 minutes prep, 10 minutes cook
Servings: 4
 

Directions

  1. Melt the ghee and add the peas and sliced mushrooms. Cook for a few minutes, then stir in the spices, chopped cilantro, salt to taste and the cheese cut into cubes.
  2. Simmer for about 5 minutes, cover and keep warm until ready to serve.
