This is a fun and quick cookie to put together. I love taking them to a potluck at work or making them with my niece and nephew. With these cookies, you cannot go wrong.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package 18.25 ounces of moist yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 egg
  • 50 unwrapped milk chocolate kisses

Directions

  1. Preparation:
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat cookie sheets lightly with a nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
  3. Place sugar in a small bowl, and set aside.
  4. Place cake mix, peanut butter, butter, and egg in a large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.
  5. Shape dough into one inch balls; (Optional)roll in sugar.
  6. Place 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets.
  7. Press one candy into the center of each ball, flattening dough slightly.
  8. Repeat with remaining dough and candies.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer cookies to wire racks; cool completely

    OMG -- these cookies are fabulous!! I have had them 3 different times -- and loved them! Then I make the mistake of bringing them into work and leaving them out on the counter and they all get scarfed down like I was sharing an office with starving scavengers!!
    Very easy to make and easy on the tummy!
    I've cooked/tasted this recipe!
