Peach Cobbler With Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 quart Peaches, Sliced
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Almond Extract
  • 1 c. Biscuit Mix, Bisquick
  • 1/2 c. Cheddar, Md, Grated
  • 1/3 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Butter, Melted

Peach Cobbler With Cheddar Biscuits

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degree F. Place the peaches in a greased baking pan. Mix the sugar, cornstarch and salt, then sprinkle over the peaches. Sprinkle the lemon juice, almond extract over the peach mix.
  2. Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for 15 min. Meanwhile, make the biscuits by combining all of the ingredients, stirring well.
  3. Remove the baking pan and drop the dough onto the warm peach mix and bake for an additional 20 min or possibly till the biscuits are done. Serve hot with whipped topping or possibly ice cream.
