- 1/3 c. whipping cream
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1 1/2 lb Italian sweet sausage links,
- sliced into 1/4-inch pcs
- 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 clv garlic, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 c. broccoli florets
- 1 1/2 c. (5 ounces) elbow macaroni or possibly
- shell macaroni
- 1 c. grated Romano or possibly Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions
- Let the cream and Large eggs come to room temperature. In a small skillet cook the sausage slices till they are browned and cooked through.
- Drain off fat. Remove sausage and keep hot. In the same skillet cook mushrooms and garlic in butter till tender.
- Meanwhile, cook broccoli, covered, in a small amount of lightly salted boiling water about 8 min or possibly till tender. Drain. Cook macaroni according to package directions; keep warm.
- Beat together the whipping cream, Large eggs, cheese and pepper. Toss together the warm macaroni and the cream mix; stir in the mush- rooms. Arrange on a serving platter. Spoon broccoli and sausage atop. Toss slightly; serve at once.
- Makes 6 servings.
