Ingredients

  • 2 cups canned green beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 small can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 can mushroom soup dilled with 1 cup milk. can use low sodium.
  • 1 small can French fried onions

Directions

  1. Drain beans, rinse
  2. place all ingredients except the fried onions in casserole in layers.
  3. Pour the mixed soup over the beans.
  4. Bake in moderate oven for about 30 minutes. Remove and add the fried onions for another 5 minutes or until they are crispy and brown..
