Directions

  1. Saute bacon in saute pan about 3 min. Add onions and oil and butter if needed to saute onions. Add salt and pepper and cook about 15 min until golden brown
  2. Add honey vinegar and thyme, increase heat to high and boil to reduce for 2-3 min. Take off the heat and set aside to cool
  3. Preheat oven to 400
  4. On a lightly floured surface roll out the dough 1/8 " thick. Line a 10" tart pan with the pastry. Prick the bottom several times. Trim the edges. Scoop the onion mixture into the tart shell. Bake until the pastry is crisp and golden about 20 min.
  5. Let cool before drizzling with olive oil and serving
