Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean grnd beef
  • 1 jar (15 1/2 ounce) spaghetti sauce (I like Prego meat flavored best)
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 8 ounce Uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 1 c. Ricotta cheese, liquid removed (cottage cheese works, too)
  • 1 1/2 c. Grated mozarella cheese
  • 1/4 c. Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Cook beef in a 2 qt measuring c. on HIGH for 5 min, stirring once.
  2. Drain well. Stir in spaghetti sauce, water, and salt, blending well.
  3. Arrange 1/3 of the sauce in a glass or possibly ceramic baking dish.Cover with half the noodles. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the mozarella cheese. Repeat the once and top with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Cover with double thick plastic wrap and cook on MEDIUM for 35 min at 50% power.
  5. Remove the wrap (carefully), sprinkle the top with the remaining 1/3 of the mozarella cheese and a little Parmesan cheese (optional). Cook 5 min at 50% power to heat the cheese. Enjoy!
