No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
One of my favorites growing up. One of my favorites still. One of my family's favorites. It will soon be one of your favorites.
Ingredients
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 Tablespoons dry cocoa
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 cups quick oats
Directions
- Heat butter, milk, sugar, and cocoa in a saucepan over medium-high heat until it starts to bubble.
- Once bubbling, immediately set a timer for exactly 1 minute.
- After the minute is up, remove pan from stove and add in peanut butter, stirring until melted.
- Add vanilla.
- Add quick oats and stir until well coated.
- Spoon out onto wax paper and let cool.
