Ingredients

  • 4 gals water
  • turkey broth
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 bag lentils, rinsed and picked over
  • 4 lbs cooked turkey thigh meat, diced
  • 3 cups diced onions
  • 3 cus diced celery, including leaves
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 2 cups tomato puree
  • 2 Tbsp turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Marinate turkey 24 hours in oil, garlic, onion, and cider vinegar.
