I am a purist and dont have a lot of kitchen gadgets or specialty items, so I use a regular square glass pan then dot with frosting mix+instant pudding mix for same effect. I use my own cocoa frosting from back of cocoa box. Fewer non-food additives and much cheaper per recipe
        This is a variation

no baking temp, and time doesn't seem long enough.

There is no baking temp because it is cooked in the microwave. and that is also why the temp is so short.

I have made this cake in the microwave and tried the 10 minutes and found it to be too long for my particular microwave. 8 minutes is perfect for me a leaves the cake ooey and gooey! Love this quick recipe!
