Mock Black Forest Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Directions
- Mix (no need to use mixer - just stir till ingredients are moist) and spread in a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.This cake is good without frosting (especially with Blue Bell Ice Cream), but delicious with the following frosting: 1 c. granulated sugar 5 T butter 6 ounce semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Boil for 1 minute. Take off heat and add in chocolate chips. Stir till melted and spread over cake.
