No question about it. My favorite donut is chocolate cake with a glaze. I could eat a dozen. . . . . all in one sitting. For Christmas one of the things I wanted was a mini donut pan. I figured this would be a way that I could make a version of my favorite donut in a smaller baked variety. That means that I can eat at least 2 (or 3) per serving right?

Directions

  1. Mix the butter, egg and sugar together until creamed. Add the baking powder, salt and dark cocoa. Beat until mixed and smooth. Add the milk and flour. Beat well. Spoon the batter into a greased (coat with cooking spray first) donut pan. Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes. Don’t over bake. Makes 18 donuts.
