  • 1 CUP SUGAR
  • 3 CUPS MILK (I USED ALMOND MILK TO CUT CALORIES AND IT WORKED GREAT!)
  • 4 EGG YOLKS
  • 1 1/2 CUPS CHIPS,EITHER CHOC. DARK AND/OR MILK CHOC.,, OR PEANUT BUTTER OR BUTTERSCOTCH, AND WHITE CHIPS
  • DASH SALT
  • 1 TSP PURE VANILLA
  • 1/2 TBSP REAL BUTTER
  • GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST (GO AHEAD AND BAKE FIRST)
  • THIS MAKES A GOOD 9 IN PIE

Time: 30 minutes prep, 8-10 minutes cook

Directions

  1. MIX CORNSTARCH AND SUGAR
  2. STIR IN MILK AND BEAT EGG YOLKS AND ADD TO MILK MIXTURE
  3. MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 3 MIN.(I USED 1100 WATT)
  4. REMOVE AND STIR
  5. PLACE BACK IN MICROWAVE FOR 2 MIN. ON HIGH.
  6. TAKE OUT AND STIR
  7. PLACE BACK IN AND MICROWAVE AT ONE MIN. INTERVALS UNTILL THICK.
  8. ABOUT 4 MIN., MAY VARY WITH MICROWAVES
  9. WHEN THICK, REMOVE AND ADD VANILLA, SALT, BUTTER, AND CHIPS,STRAIN.
  10. POUR INTO BAKED GRAHAM CRACKER PIE CRUST
  11. COVER WITH SARAN WRAP, LET COOL
  12. TOP WITH COOL WHIP OR REAL WHIP CRREAM
  13. YUMMY
  14. LEAVE IN FRIG. UNTILL COMPLETELY COOL BEFORE CUTTING.

TRULY THIS RECIPE MAKES A DELICIOUS PIE AS LONG AS YOU STRAIN THE PIE FILLING BEFORE PUTTING INTO CRUST.
USING AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT FLAVOR OF CHIPS IS WHAT MAKES THE FLAVOR STAND OUT.
