Directions

  1. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in beef, pork, onion, green pepper, and garlic and saute/fry till browned, about 10 min.
  2. With a slotted spoon to drain off the fat, place the sauteed ingredients in a 4-qt saucepan. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well. Slowly bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 2 hrs.
