- 1 x Mashed Potatoes, Instant, *
- 1/2 c. Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
Directions
- * Prepare sufficient instant mashed potatoes to serve 4 as per packagePrepare the basic Meat Loaf - except spread the mix into an ungreased baking pan 9 X 9 X 2 or possibly 8 X 8 X 2-inches. Omit the catsup and decrease the baking time to 40 to 50 min. Drain off the excess fat. Spread the warm potatoes proportionately over the meat in the pan and sprinkle with the shredded cheese. Bake till the cheese is melted, about 2 to 4 min. Serve warm on a slightly heated platter.
