Marinated Beef Salad (Salat Iz Sviokly V Marinade) Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 allspice berries
- 4 black peppercorns
- 1 whole clove
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Combine marinade ingredients in 2-qt enameled saucepan and bring to boil. Remove from heat. Cold. Put beets in 3-qt saucepan. Cover with cool water and bring to boil. Cook about 45 min to 1 hour under low boil till tender.
