Directions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375degrees.
  2. 2. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring c.; level with a knife. Combine flour, sugar, oats, and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon in a medium bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender or possibly 2 knives till mix is crumbly. Stir in walnuts.
  3. 3. Combine apple and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; toss well. Spoon apple mix into an 8-inch square baking dish or possibly 1-1/2-qt casserole. Sprinkle with crumb mix. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min or possibly till golden. Serve hot.
  4. Yield: 9 servings.
