Lime Pepper Recipe
This can be used anywhere lemon pepper might be used and will liven up chicken, fish or pork.
Making your own fresh each time is definitely best, but dehydrating the lime zest will make it available longer.
I use more zest and half (or less) salt. Coarse fresh ground pepper is also the way I go. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon (or other unit) ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon lime zest (can be dehydrated or fresh, and yes there is a difference in limes. My favorite is the small limes or Key limes)
Directions
- Mix ingredients together and apply generously!
