Ingredients

  • 2 c. All-Purpose Flour Sifted
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 3 1/2 tsp Baking Pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 x Egg
  • 2 Tbsp. Grated Orange Rind
  • 1/2 c. Orange Juice
  • 3 Tbsp. Melted Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Warm Water
  • 1 1/2 c. Cranberries Halved
  • 3/4 c. Minced Nuts

Directions

  1. Sift flour, sugar, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt into a large bowl.
  2. Beat egg lightly in a small bowl, stir in orange rind and juice, butter and warm water. Add in to dry ingredients; mix thoroughly. Mix in cranberries and nuts. Turn batter into a well-greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  3. Bake at 350F oven for 50 min or possibly till cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan; cold on wire rack.
