This is a traditional Indian dessert. Champorado, rice porridge with cocoa, is the Filipino version of this dish. Muhallabia, Arabic rice pudding, is very much similar with this dessert.

Ingredients
1 1/2 liter fresh milk
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. powdered milk
1/4 c. coconut powder or dried grated coconut
1 c. ground rice
1 tsp. vanilla essence
1 tbsp. chopped pistachios
1 tbsp. chopped almonds
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Mix well.
Simmer for 30-40 minutes, continue stirring until the mixture thickens. Cool.
