Chicken Biryani by Nancy MiyasakiThis is a great Indian dish that I adapted from Cooking Light recipe. They recommend raisins which I leave out. I've also changed the proportions a bit. Our kids universally love this, despite the exotic spices. I generally serve with my Cucumber and Tomato Salad on the side. |

Yellow Garlic Rice and Broccoli by SmokinhotchefI make this all the time for a quick and easy side dish. Alternately, this can be a main dish by adding 1 lb. of chicken, beef, or pork. my daughter Genesis loves it and enjoys this recipe as her main dish with no meat added. I feel great knowing my children can be satisfied with a meatless meal and still be happy! |

Pueblo Rice by Farrell May PodgorsekWe love this rice. It is excellent served hot or cold. It is a slightly modified version of the Pueblo Rice from the Hell's Backbone Grill restaurant in Boulder, Utah, one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at. You can modify the vegetables seasonally. I have used blanched diced corn, green peppers, and sauteed squash. The key… |

Rice with Green tea and Orange zest flavour by Gouri HaldarAn ongoing Rice recipe event on a blog site inspired me to do some experiments with rice. Fruit Kimbab (Korean Seaweed Rice Rolls w Fruit) by jason kimIt was a nice surprise today to be greeted with some kimbab that the wife made for me (and the kids) as a snack for work. Though I have never made or attempted to make kimbab myself, I know how time-consuming it can be so I was thankful to her. Kimbab is one of the more popular and healthy foods that Koreans love, especially those who… |

Chinese dragon Tang Yuan by Weining WangCooking is my faith. I wouldn't wait for its coming, just as Elizabeth David. The spirit which had been imparted to my soul by the renowned chefs I met in my grandfather’s kitchen gave me a sense of mission. I kept asking myself. What my ideal is? Where is my vagrant soul? Where is the home of my cooking? Where can I resolve my… |
